Senior Payroll Operations Specialist (m/w/d)
Aufgaben:
Our Payroll team is an integral function that provides support to our Employee population in Germany. Join us in accelerating the world's transition to sustainable energy whilst giving a Best-in-Class experience to our Employees. Responsible for all key Payroll processes such as preparing input for the Payroll vendor against tight-deadlines, and process advance, termination and other out-of-cycle payments. Perform tasks to establish and maintain employee payroll records Optimising and securing Payroll processes including maintaining current work instructions and FAQs to support employees to self-serve, whilst providing mentorship to Payroll team Demonstrate an understanding of key SLAs, metrics and KPIs. Work proactively to eliminate trends and bottlenecks to optimise Payroll processes and data flows with HR stakeholders Track and resolve escalations from employees and stakeholders to ensure that issues are addressed with accuracy and speed Carry out audits and checks on Payroll data to ensure ongoing accuracy and processing diligence and participate in Payroll projects both on a regional and EMEA level Communicate effectively both verbally and in written form with employees, stakeholders and third-party vendors to explain and resolve queries and concerns Run, develop and distribute payroll and HR reports to various stakeholders in a timely and accurate manner
Qualifikationen:
Strong knowledge of Payroll processes, HR processes and systems Working knowledge of HRIS and E-Ticketing tool systems a plus Must be extremely organized and detail-oriented with the ability to handle multiple tasks or shift priorities as needed in a fast-changing environment against deadlines Proven skill at handling stressful issues and interfacing with all levels of the business in a courteous and professional manner Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; specifically Excel English language skills; both written and spoken Experience owning compliance related topics and performing necessary audits. In-depth knowledge of global Payroll regulations, tax laws, and compliance requirements for various jurisdictions
