Postdoctoral Researcher for the Integrative Analysis of Multimodal Biomedical Data (m/w/d)
Ihre Aufgaben:
· A key element will be the analysis of already existing Genomic, Proteomic and Metabolomic datasets in conjunction with neuroimaging data from clinically deeply phenotyped stroke cohorts using established computational pipelines.
· For the work, you will be able to leverage established collaborations to methodological partners at the ISD and beyond.
· Candidates should be determined to investigate large datasets bioinformatically to solve clinical questions to improve patient care.
· Remuneration is based on the Collective Agreement for the Public Sector of the Länder (TV-L) including all allowances customary in the public sector.
Das bringen Sie mit:
· should hold a PhD degree in bioinformatics or related fields.
· should have extensive experience in programming (e.g. R, Python, Matlab, Bash).
· should have experience with the analyses of omics data (with a particular focus on proteomics and metabolomics) and (ideally) of longitudinal data.
· would benefit from experience in applying machine learning/AI-based methods, mixed models, clustering techniques, sinusoidal regression, and regression splines.
· would benefit from medical or biological background and knowledge.
· Experience with clinical data is not necessarily a must, experience and knowledge from other fields is beneficial. We are looking for candidates that bring fresh perspectives and methods and expand the toolbox of our team.
