Aufgaben:
Start as a Mechnical Design Engineer with us into a joint and successful future. As a specialist and personnel supplier for the aerospace industry for decades and in partnership with renowned companies in the aviation industry as well as aviation pioneers, SimpleXX GmbH is looking for an Mechanical Design Engineer who can work remotely at the next possible date within the framework of temporary employment with a takeover option. You will design aerospace parts and assemblies for flight testing. Moreover, you will design parts and assemblies for test rigs and fixtures. We look forward to receiving your application! - Design aerospace parts and assemblies for flight testing as well as for test rigs and fixtures - Design Instrumentation installation solutions; manage the design data of your system in Teamcenter - Create 3D parts and assemblies in CAD (Siemens NX), including harness routing - Participate in systems engineering activities; work on any ad hoc related projects or tasks - Derive fully dimensioned 2D technical drawings appropriate for production and certification - Document your work according to our relevant processes - Consult with engineers of other disciplines, for example Manufacturing Engineers regarding manufacturability of your designs - Provide input to Project Management and Test Engineering Lead on project performance against established milestones
Qualifikationen:
- University degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering (M.Sc./M.Eng. preferred) - Minimum of 3 years of professional experience of mechanical rig design in the aerospace and/or component testing is required - Excellent understanding of general design principles and technical correlations is required - Strong knowledge of Siemens NX is required - Advanced knowledge of ISO GPS (alternatively ASME GD&T) and overall good drafting skills are required - Basic knowledge with PDM/PLM systems (Teamcenter or equivalent) is required - Experience in harness routing using NX and with FEA (particularly NX Nastran) beneficial - High level of self-reliance with the ability to work in a team and autonomously is required - Target-oriented, driven work style with analytic problem-solving skills required - Ability and willingness to thrive in a fast-paced, rapidly changing work environment - is required - Fluent English language skills are essential, fluent German or any other language would - be beneficial - Working remote within Germany is possible; Preference will be given to candidates who - can work on site and submission of English resume required
