Safety Manager (m/f/d)
Aufgaben:
- Have as main responsibility to plan and perform safety management activities in scope of ISO26262 and ISO21448 for Active Safety products (ADAS) in projects - Lead member of an engineering team and will apply the knowledge of ISO 26262 concepts to all phases of the product lifecycle - Be responsible for interfacing with System, Hardware, Software, Verification and Validation, and Industrialization teams and supporting the safety activities in those disciplines - Ensure project compliance to safety standards (e.g. ISO26262, ISO21448) and to company development process and methods - Report project status of safety (functional safety and SOTIF), including identified safety anomalies - Be the contact person towards customer regarding safety topics in the project - Analyze and understand external and internal stakeholder requirements - Define and monitor the project's Development Interface Agreement (DIA) and perform safety impact analysis to ensure adequate reusability and tailoring of safety activities - Plan, coordinate, and monitor the progress of the project's safety activities - Consolidate software tools used within the project to ensure proper evaluation and qualification and coordinate hazard analyses to define safety goals and identify assumptions of use - Support the definition of the product's functional safety concept - Support the definition of the product's technical safety concept, associated safety requirements and system architecture - Provide feedback on system architecture effectiveness to mitigate faults and failures - Ensure relevant safety analyses are performed e.g. FMEA, FTA, FMEDA at different levels - Support technical reviews with product teams to ensure ISO26262 and ISO21448 criteria are fulfilled - Ensure the development of the product safety manuals to guide adequate product integration - Support development of DVP&R with respect to safety and review safety related test cases - Request and support safety audits and assessments - Compile evidence and provide argumentation regarding the achievement of product safety - Uphold and adhere to the company safety related processes and provide recommendations for Improvement - Support new customer specific projects during the request for information or quotation phase - - Support Active System Integration (ASI) in scope of customer demonstrations or other onsite demands - Mentor colleagues to ensure effective knowledge transfer - Guide engineers on documentation activities as needed
Qualifikationen:
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Electrical/Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Mechatronics or related technical field or appropriate experience in such a position - Experience in Safety Engineering industry - Experience of hands-on experience in development of safety concepts for highly complex systems including coordination of system level design to meet safety goals with considerations for scalable design - Profound knowledge, understanding and hands on experience in ISO26262 and ISO21448 - Knowledge in Automotive industry preferably in Active Safety Systems or appropriate safety related industries - Knowledge in Systems Engineering, Embedded Systems and Electronics - Experience with performing safety analyses including FTA, DFA, DFMEA and FMEDA - Experience in Automotive SPICE - Skills in English and German - Your work approach is constructive, structured, and systematic - Team player who likes to work in project groups - Technical leadership, problem solving, planning and organizational skills - Problem solving oriented and pro-active approach - Excellent presentation and communication skills - Flexibility to visit customer on-site
