Sr. Manager Engineering (m/f/d)
Aufgaben:
- Your thing. In small teams, you will work independently and close to the product. You will find your solutions and accompany the entire production cycle.
- Takes ownership of next generation and existing hardware system designs
- Leads the Hardware Team to scope deliverables and manage resources
- Creates, maintains, and promotes documentation of processes
- Lead the Safety certification process from certification to maintaining certificates
- Ensures product release schedules are on-time by actively managing and driving project teams to hit milestones
- Collaborates with key partners (software, manufacturing, marketing, sales, etc.) to support project development and completion
- Builds and maintains positive relationships with cross functional teams
- Participates in design reviews and design decisions
- Responsible for employee hiring, training, and career development planning
- Provides guidance and direction to direct reports, including setting performance goals and monitoring performance
Qualifikationen:
- Degree in Engineering Science of a University or University of Applied Sciences (Bc, MasterSc, Dipl.-Ing.)
- 7+ years Hardware Design experience required
- 2+ years Management experience desired
- Demonstrated ability to understand business requirements and setting design strategy
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex product development cycles
- Excellent organizational, planning, presentation, troubleshooting, and multi-tasking skills
- Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism
- Strong attention to detail and exceptional customer support
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Proficient in German and English language
- Very good basis knowledge in a broad field of physical disciplines (Mechanics, Electricity, Optics, Thermodynamics); high affinity to technical physics
- Experience with semiconductor test equipment design
- Experience in developing technical solution from idea to shipping product
- Experience with verification and validation of hardware designs
- Understanding of software development needs and timelines
- Understanding of manufacturing requirements and process
