Technical Regulations and Standards Lead Engineer -Film and DI (d­­/­­f­­/­­m)

Systems engineering is a cross-functional engineering discipline centered on an approach, mindset, and process. All activities that consider both the business and the technical needs of the customers with the goal of providing a quality product that meets the users needs. The discipline that executes a robust process of design, creation, and optimization of systems, consisting of identification and quantification of system requirements, creation of alternate system design concepts, performance of design trade studies, selection and implementation of the best designs and verification that the design is properly integrated and executed. As a Lead Engineer within the Engineering team, you must be able to interpret a customer's specification / requirements to produce a practical and cost effective design solutions to meet the design or maintenance requirements. Reviewing and understanding the applicable standards required by Law in country that apply to the relevant products. Communicating standards to the design community and maintains it. Participating with independent third parties to perform product compliance and certification work (testing, design review etc.) and communicating results/actions to the relevant engineering and supply chain team. Interacting with outside engineering firms or governmental agencies to provide or record product compliance to required regional or national standards to gain the needed product certification or qualification. Identifying all product legislation that impacts products within their modality and drive compliance. Working together with senior leadership level. Specifie needs, communicates about project approach and presents outcomes of research done. Delivering products as part of a team. Working on cross functional teams. Alternatively: Leading analytical and design activities using proven technologies and vested approaches and methods. Sustaining Projects - Supporting global TR&S team in getting product approvals for modality specific products to new legislation. TR&S Engineer will proactively monitor and sustain product compliance certificate expirations for their modality Responsible to create and maintain product licenses as well as working with design teams to ensure TR&S requirements traceability flow through NPI and project documentation.
