Logistics Specialist

Manage forwarding operations for international transportation for both international and domestic incl. customs clearance. Monitor the shipment and provide the customer with updates on the status of their shipment. Research ideal shipping techniques, routing, and carriers. Identifying risks as well as developing countermeasures and independently developing potential and risk analyses Arrange and co-ordinate pickups and deliveries. Work with other departments to incorporate logistics with company procedures and operations. International order management and tracking. Keep detailed records, generate reports, and develop presentations to help management understand the logistics perspective. Qualifications Bachelor in Logistics or similar is preferred, but not necessary. 3 years of work experience as a logistics specialist. Experience in dealing with hazardous substances and goods, ideally in-depth knowledge of storage and transport (ADR 2019) Solid understanding of logistics and inventory management software. Analytical thinking, problem-solving, organizational and coordination skills Able to prioritize work and meet deadlines Exceptional verbal and written communication skills. Very good knowledge of German and good English
