Logistics and Warehouse Manager (m/f/d)
- Autonomous management of the warehouse, incoming goods, and outgoing goods
- Disciplinary and technical leadership of the logistics team of 20 employees
- Responsibility for various tasks in delegated areas such as customs, compliance, and international trade.
- Ensuring compliance with customer requirements regarding types of goods, modes of transport, quantities, and deadlines.
- Creation, implementation, and monitoring of legal requirements for calculating origin of goods and preferences.
- Ensuring widespread compliance with export control regulations.
- Organising and controlling individual areas as well as planning, coordinating, monitoring, and optimising logistical processes.
- Vocational training as a freight forwarder with relevant additional qualifications or degree in logistics, business administration, industrial engineering
- Leadership experience
- Several years of professional experience in an industrial company in the relevant field
- In-depth knowledge of various complex customs matters
- Experience in implementing projects for continuous improvement of logistics and supply chain as well as in using key performance indicators for economic evaluation
- Excellent proficiency in SAP (ideally Key User modules WM, SD, MM) and MS Office
- Knowledge of workflows in a WM-controlled high-bay warehouse
- In-depth knowledge of the road/air/sea transport market
- Experience in operating and implementing customs simplifications (AEO)
- Implementation of legal compliance requirements within the company
- Knowledge of SAP's origin/preference calculation, its result monitoring, and event-driven error correction
- Knowledge of implementing and monitoring compliance with export controls within the company
- Good German and English language skills
- Strong team and communication skills
