Automation Specialist (m­­/­­f­­/­­d)

The ideal candidate would have a bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent level of experience Substantial experience in PLC Programming (Siemens preferred) Ability to program vision systems (Keyence preferred), Motor drives (SEW preferred), Electrical axis (Festo preferred) Ability to read and write logic (Ladder or Sequential Function Chart) Knowledge of communications protocol between PLC, Robots, supervision and traceability systems 5 or more years of experience working in a fast-paced or automotive industry Basic knowledge of working with automotive processes and tools, and Lean Principles Technical understanding of machine parts and drawings, including mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic control systems Understanding of and ability to apply Lean problem solving tools Working as a member of cross-functional teams Knowledge of process optimization techniques Working knowledge of relevant HSE and workplace safety requirements Ability to speak and write in English Native language: French, if not, Fluent level in English mandatory
