Supply Quality Engineer (m/f/d)
Ihre Aufgaben:
- Be the point of contact for the manufacturing department regarding supplier related quality topics and be the interface between Manufacturing, Engineering, Procurement and Suppliers. - Monitoring the quality performance of suppliers, analyzing quality incidents and risks and implementing suitable risk mitigation measures. - Initiating and implementing quality improvement programs with suppliers. - Product and Process Qualification: Be the Lead in cross-functional teams to perform Product and Process Qualification (PPQ) on GDL commodity parts. Leading includes the planning, tracking and reporting of project milestones as well as budget and resource needs. - Incorporating purchasing-related aspects into the product development process, promoting early supplier involvement and ensuring that supplier feedback is taken into account in product definition. - Planning and conducting regular supplier audits according to applicable process descriptions and standards - Improving SQ processes and commodity specific qualification standards (e.g. checklist, templates, etc.)
Das bringen Sie mit:
- You have a bachelor's degree or higher in mechanical, industrial engineering or a similar discipline. Equivalent combination of education, training, and experience will be considered. - At least 3 years professional experience in an area of supplier quality management, procurement and manufacturing. - You have experience performing supplier qualifications, product/ process qualification & technical supplier development to provide a global quality-assured and cost-effective supply base. - You have profound knowledge of quality methods like FMEA, 8D, RCA, APQP. - You are a self-starter, determined and self-reliant; your organizational, strategic, analytical thinking and intercultural expertise round up your profile. - You are willing to ask questions, proactively reach out to others to communicate, be open minded, look for problems proactively and mitigate them and have personal drive and growth. - You are highly proficient (writing and speaking) in English, willing to travel domestically and internationally up to 25% of time. Must have or be able to obtain a passport. - You are confident in using MS Office Applications and SAP. - Personal initiative, quality and result orientation - Analytical ability and strategic thinking
