job description:
- Manage supply chain & quality aspects of the contract, being responsible for on-time, on-quality (and on-cost when applicable) performance
- Act as an escalation in case of repetitive issues (work out short term recovery plans)
- Responsible to ensure industrial qualification maturity before serial phase
- Assess suppliers during tendering phase and contribute to the selection decision
- Assess the supplier capacity, capability & performance and contribute to the supplier development
- Initiate and manage supplier performance improvement projects, set long term development targets together with the suppliers and in coordination with the supplier development team
- Ensure industrialization and fulfillment of AIrbus requirements from the supplier for new product indroductions (e.g. Zero E)
- Present the situation of the supplier on operational performance (KPIs, assessments..) during MFT/MDT meetings
- Maintain a close communication and coordination with the operational teams at internal customer sites, to ensure the contribution of all relevant functions to the delivery of procured goods or services
- Act as focal point towards the suppliers for operational activities and contract management, and as ambassador of the supplier toward internal functions
- Act as focal point for QSR (Quality Survey Report) - surveing the potential multiple production nonconformity and initiating a follow-up work of the correction actions
personal requirements:
- high-tuned communication, presentation & influencing skills towards all management levels - internally and externally
- independent, structured and result-oriented work and good analytical skills
- ability to summarize complex industrial situations in a clear and concise manner
- willingness to travel
education / studies:
- Engineering at least Bachelor's degree or
- Aerospace at least Bachelor's degree or
- Business Administration at least Bachelor's degree or
- Supply Chain / Logistics at least Bachelor's degree or
- Supply Chain Quality at least Bachelor's degree
professional experience:
- Supplier management at least 4 years
- Project management at least 4 years
- Quality management at least 4 years
- Supply chain at least 4 years
IT:
- SAP at least in-depth application knowledge
- Google Workspace
further skills:
- Change Management mind. Grundkenntnisse
language skills:
- Deutsch mind. verhandlungssicher
- Englisch mind. verhandlungssicher
