Senior Embedded Hardware Engineer for Functional Safety (f/m/d)
As a Senior Embedded Hardware Engineer (f/m/d), you will create the necessary documentation for hardware development, for example product and technical specifications and define the safety-related hardware architecture and design.
In addition, you will generate test specifications and verify function tests and hardware designs.
The modelling and simulation of hardware concepts, component selection and sizing, and design implementation and schematic design are important tasks of your scope.
As an expert in your field, you will execute FMEA, FTA and FMEDA and support V&V teams on system debugging.
The ideal candidate has completed a bachelor's degree or a master's degree within the field of computer science, automation engineering, or a related field with focus on hardware.
You have experience in the development of hardware for embedded systems and modelling and simulation solutions (PSice, MatLab).
Underlying this ability is a solid knowledge of hardware development process, Cadence Allegro and Embedded ARM-based MCU platforms.
Experience with automation technology and Functional Safety design process according to IEC 61508 is advantageous.
As you will be working in an international environment, very good English language skills are essential.
