We offer: - Varied activities in an exciting work environment - Major international projects with well-known customers - Work in a friendly and motivated team - Pleasant and collegial working environment - Interesting prospects for professional and personal development - Attractive salary and flexible, family-friendly working hours Task and responsibilities: - Project engineer in the field of HVDC control technology for the components SCADA Communication Gateway (signal transmission between automation devices, communication technology integration of ancillary systems and control centres) - Creation and maintenance of specifications and manuals - Clarification of signalling lists with internal interfaces and external customers and suppliers - Creation and maintenance of the central control technology - signal database (signal switching) and configuration of the central data gateway (IPCOMM ipConv) and other protocol converters - System integration and commissioning of the various components in the test set-up in Erlangen and Forchheim (ensuring error-free communication between the components, including signalling tests) - Carrying out and supporting acceptance tests with suppliers and customers - Technical support during commissioning Knowledge: - Completed studies in electrical engineering, energy technology, automation technology or comparable specialisation or completed training with corresponding professional experience and further training - Professional experience in the field of control technology for energy transmission systems - Experience in project management, customer clarifications, working in complex teams - Understanding of SCADA systems in energy transmission (switchgear, etc.) - Experience in remote control interfaces, protocol converters, data concentrators, control technology protocols (IEC101, IEC104, IEC61850, OPC, DNP etc.) and the corresponding communication structures We look forward to getting to know you!
