Procurement Specialist

- Develop and execute sourcing strategies to support business objectives - Drive supply base optimization and supply chain strategies in procurement strategies - Perform and lead in a variety of procurement and material management activities that include supplier quotations, supplier selection, cost negotiations, lead time management, material purchasing and planning, sub-contractor management, supplier performance evaluation, safety stock management, inventory planning and management, business continuity planning, part expediting, delivery and payment resolution - Conduct cost analysis to support decision making for existing, new projects and initiatives - Establish strong collaboration and develop partnership with product management, engineering, marketing, service, strategic sourcing manager to formulate strategies surrounding all products for supplier engagement and total internal buy-in to win customer orders and close deals - Provide input on risk mitigation, business continuity, cost management and operation strategies
