Postdoctoral Researcher (m/f/d) at the Chair of Computational Social Science
Aufgaben:
- Coordination and planning of existing research activities, e.g., experiments, data collection and analysis.
- Assistance with / coordination of researching, drafting, and submitting grant proposals to secure funding from various sources.
- Collaboration with Ph.D. students on shared research publications.
- Supervision of thematically related BA/MA theses.
- Collaboration with local and international project partners.
- Actively participate in the intellectual life and research activities of the Chair of Computational Social Science (e.g. attendance of weekly research colloquia)
- Teaching of one method course per semester.
Qualifikationen:
- A computer science or social science BA/MA and a PhD with interdisciplinary research focus.
- Strong project coordination skills, and (if possible) experience with grant writing.
- Strong skills in statistical and/or computational methods.
- Ability for excellent academic research evidenced through internationally visible publications, third-party funding, or related research activities.
- Enthusiasm for working in a team as well as ability to work independently.
- Required language proficiency: English (at least C1) AND German (at least C1).
Wir bieten:
- A 3-year postdoctoral research position in a highly productive research team.
- Remuneration will be in accordance with the German public service pay scale (collective agreement for state-level public servants, TV-L) at the E-13 level (100%). Post-Docs normally start at TV-L 13/3.
