PhD Position in Translational Cancer Immunology part time (65%) (m/w/d)
Aufgaben:
· Antigen Profiling of primary acute myeloid leukemia (AML) cells using single-cell RNA sequencing and multiparameter flow cytometry
· Evaluation of novel T-cell bispecific antibody constructs for treatment of AML
· Dissecting resistance mechanisms in hematologic malignancies towards bispecific antibodies and CAR-T cell therapies
· Daily Research Methods:
· Aseptic cell culture of cell lines and primary patient material
· Isolation of peripheral blood and bone marrow mononuclear cells from patients and healthy donors
· Cytotoxicity assays, co-cultures, immune cell activation and inhibition assays, proliferation analysis, and cytokine screening
· Advanced flow cytometry
· Presenting research findings at national and international conferences
Qualifikationen:
· Educational Background
: M.Sc. in life sciences, biology, biochemistry, molecular biology, or related disciplines.
· Passion for Impact:
Eager to contribute to clinically oriented research that impacts patient care and treatment outcomes.
· Driven and Committed:
Highly motivated with a dedicated approach to research, demonstrating the ability to work independently and efficiently.
· Team Player:
Collaborative and team-minded, thriving in a multidisciplinary research environment.
· Specialized Knowledge:
A strong theoretical background in immunology is a plus, and knowledge in biostatistics will be advantageous.
· Technical Expertise:
Experience in flow cytometry and handling primary patient material is an asset.
