Hardware Engineer (f/m/d) with focus on Test
Ihre Aufgaben:
Responsible for evaluating, characterizing, and testing electronic devices, assemblies, components, or integrated circuitry for electronic hardware systems on system and board level. This includes testability specification of these products, test architecture, handover to production, test preparation, test execution, characterization and sign-off. Definition of DFT and DFM strategy and best practices for products under development. Development of extensive tests for functional verification, characterization, and production release. Design, develop, and implement cost-effective methods of testing and troubleshooting systems and equipment. Preparation of test and diagnostic programs, design of test fixtures, equipment, and procedures for new products. Responsible for developing, advancing, and maintaining the test framework for successful volume production. Support the production team during product's life-time and handling of product changes
Das bringen Sie mit:
Deep knowledge and understanding of FPGA technology, design for test (DFT) and design for manufacturability (DFM), and related tools. A background and thorough knowledge of hardware design and test strategies at the system component level (memory subsystems such as DDR4/5, IO standards such as LVDS, FIFOs, communication systems like PCIe, etc.) is required. Experience with test and measurement equipment, and software packages used in lab and production environments is a must. Understanding of hardware parts (working with schematics and layout data, signal integrity, FPGA designs etc.) and hardware related software parts (e.g. programming test routines for hardware verification, characterization, and production test) Basic Lab working skills for product characterization and prototype testing. Experience in designing and simulating integrated circuitry using VHDL and/or (System) Verilog. Knowledge in software programming languages like Python, TCL, C, C++ is required.
