Electrical Technician for Energy Testing - Test Operations (d/m/w)

Completed apprenticeship, master craftsman or technician qualification as electronics technician for industrial, operational, or automation technology, a comparable education, or a degree in electrical engineering 3 years of present experience in this field is required. Experience with electrical systems up to 1 kV DC and especially on Li-Ion HV-Batteries for automotive or aerospace applications Experience of working in a test environment for prototype Li-Ion HV-Battery development (cell & stack-level) industry You have an EFK (HV2) and or/AuS (HV2) Certification and can provide hands on experience Knowledge and experience in the practical application of the Low Voltage Directive, the Machinery Directive and the corresponding electrical standards such as DIN EN 50191, DIN EN 61010-1, DIN EN 61439 or comparable standards of the electrical industry are an advantage You can build LV- and HV-Harnesses, disassemble prototype HV-Batteries and support on preparation of Li-Ion Cell and HV-Batterie Tests (Environmental, Mechanical, Abuse and Electrical) Experience in sensor application and use (e.g. thermocouples, strain gauges, load cells, etc.) is a plus Efficient use of standard IT software such as MS-Office and willingness to learn new software tools (e.g. databases) is essential. Additional experience in the use of E-PLAN is an advantage The ability to work in a team, a high sense of responsibility, manual dexterity and the ability to work on the basis of verbal and written instructions or complex technical documentation characterize you. We require a goal-oriented and motivated way of working with analytical, independent problem-solving skills to organize your own tasks Good written and spoken English skills are required, German skills are an advantage Commitment to travel if needed, to support external test setups at test facilities (not frequently) A drivers license class B (car) is required Engineering degree
