- Preparation and submission of income tax return, periodic VAT & intra-community returns as well as support for other taxes and tax audits - Identification of potential tax risks and proposals of solutions - Contact person for the local tax authorities - Monitor updates on tax and accounting laws, followed by assessment of implications to the business, and share it to team - Filling of accounting and tax documents when necessory - Contact person for internal and external auditing - Support in the monthly closing process in compliance with the Group accounting standards and The German Commercial Code HGB as well as the preparation of management reports - Support in the preparation and filing of local financial statements - Selection of insurance products and suppliers in Germany - Overdue payment collection and Identification of risky customers - Document support for the bidding process in sales activities - Doing month-end inventory counting and asset verification in the Munich lab - Ad hoc duties including looking at a subsidiary entity in Netherlands and help with tax returns and communicating with Dutch tax office - Other tasks required by line managers when necessary.
