- University degree (Bachelor/Master/Diploma/PhD) or equivalent education + relevant proven work experience - Experience in systems engineering (5y+), gained in a professional position, preferably in the space industry with focus on small satellites - Strong knowledge and proven experience in systems engineering, including requirements engineering, functional analysis, verification control - Strong knowledge and proven experience in space mission and satellite engineering, including orbital dynamics, space environment, space operations and satellite testing - Experience in technical execution of Phase C/D projects - Experience in satellite and/or sub-system requirements engineering - Experience in technical management of sub-systems - Experience in satellite verification, including hands-on testing - Knowledge of DOORS (or similar), STK (or similar), UML/SysML - Knowledge of SCOS (or similar) and TCL scripting - Experience with Earth-observing optical missions is considered an asset - Experience with space radiation environment and radiation's impact on satellite design and verification is considered a strong asset - Experience in one or more of the following areas is considered an asset: mechanical and thermal, electrical and power, AOCS, micro-vibration - Excellent sense of responsibility - Structured hands-on work-approach - Good interpersonal skills - Positive spirit to work and interface with a multinational team - Willingness to travel for business and to be part of a collocated team for a limited time (e.g. at test facility) - Very good English language skills - Documented evidence of eligibility will be required from the applicants as part of the recruitment process
