Leads the planning, designing, purchasing, and implementation of changes to the manufacturing equipment and systems while leading and co-leading teams. In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways: - Specify, purchase, and implement manufacturing machinery, ensuring it meets safety and performance requirements. - Continuously optimize existing equipment to improve efficiency, reduce downtime, and ensure safety standards are maintained. - Apply deep technical knowledge of assembly technology to enhance manufacturing processes and solve complex technical problems. - Lead and manage specific projects, from planning through implementation, to ensure manufacturing processes meet safety, manufacturing, business, and product goals. - Utilize continuous improvement tools and adhere to Cummins standards to develop and enhance manufacturing standards and working methods. - Lead communications with key external stakeholders, business leaders, and functional team members to ensure alignment and project success. - Collaborate with internal and external resources on specific project assignments to achieve project objectives. - Maintain relationships with key stakeholders and provide coaching to ensure successful implementation of manufacturing processes and continuous improvement initiatives.
