Tasks: In this position, you will have the opportunity to drive advancements in computational excited-state simulations. Specifically, you will develop methods to predict excited-state properties and dynamics at material interfaces, based on ab initio Green's function theory in the GW approximation. One postdoctoral position will focus on developing and advancing the theoretical foundations, while the other will concentrate on implementing low-scaling algorithms for efficient execution on the next generation of exascale supercomputers, including GPU acceleration. The methods will be implemented in community codes, such as FHI-aims, in close collaboration with the developer community.
