- Record and post credit and debit business transactions, in particular incoming invoices taking into account local VAT regulations - Support the monthly, quarterly and annual general ledger and closing activities and prepare financial statements in accordance with IFRS, local commercial and tax law - Post and monitor payments and prepare payment runs - Manage open items incl. clarification of differences, permanent reconciliation of general ledger and sub-ledgers - Support the preparation of reporting packages and reporting analyses - Collaborate cross-functionally with the EU business functions, local Finance Directors and local Finance and business staff - Participate in (sub-) projects to optimize the Accounting activities and the development of the European Finance Shared Services
