Cloud Network Engineer (f/m/d)
Aufgaben:
- Operate, implement and maintain network infrastructure for a hybrid, multi-cloud environment
- Deliver projects to ensure our Network infrastructure is fit for purpose, well maintained and is an industry best practice standard that supports the transition to cloud services
- Demonstrate expertise with Microsoft Azure (or AWS) and similar cloud services as well as experience in designing, configuring, provisioning, and deploying solutions specifically at the network layer
- Demonstrate in-depth understanding of networking, it´s various vendors & technologies such as Palo Alto, Aruba, LAN, WAN, WLAN, VPN, Firewalls, SDWAN, Load Balancers, Routing & Switching
- Develop network services that use infrastructure as code to automate the delivery of cloud network components
- Performing feasibility studies and IT concepts, market research and vendor evaluations
- Experience working with Cybersecurity teams on infrastructure or applications security compliance
- Help ensure the availability of the company network and cloud network using pro-active monitoring and alerting
- Operational responsibility for our Connectivity network infrastructure
- Create all necessary operational documentation for the network infrastructure
Qualifikationen:
- Bachelors degree in technology or computer science, or completed apprenticeship and corresponding professional experience
- 3+ years of experience innetwork infrastructure design, implementation and administration is required
- Knowledge and experience withnetwork operating systems such as Aruba OS-CX and/or Cisco IOS
- Strong work experience withPalo Alto Suiteand Aviatrix
- Knowledge and experience withinternet routing protocols and concepts:TCP/IP, BGP, MPLS, IS-IS and/or OSPF, IPSec, VPNs, DNS, SSL and other network services
- Experience withOT architectures& Software-Defined WAN (SDWAN) deployment is required
- Experience using Jira & Confluence is beneficial.
- Proven experience with public cloud providers (e.g. Azure and AWS) is highly appreciated
- Strong automation exposure with hands onscripting/programming experience is highly appreciated
- Deep understanding of TCP/IP, Subnetting, DHCP, NAT is beneficial
- Strong Experience with ITIL framework and ITSM is highly appreciated
- Customer focus and service oriented
- Ability to work in a highly energetic, dynamic and fast-moving environment
- Willing and able to take on new and unfamiliar IT technologies, constant learning
- Strong motivation to help build and shape the organisation, structures and processes
- Fluent English language skills are essential, any other languages would be beneficial
Nice-to have certifications:
- Cloud (AWS, Azure, etc.), Palo Alto Suite, Aruba
- Aviatrix
- Cisco or Security+ certifications
- ITIL 4 Foundation
- Project Management certification
