Aufgaben:
- optimize processes for external service providers and monitor KPIs.
- drive improvements in quality, service availability, and profitability.
- coordinate with external partners on project timelines.
- maintain IT systems for employee enrollment and training documentation.
- collaborate closely with your line manager on daily operations.
- conduct market screening for service establishment or replacement.
- ensure the smooth operation of the central scullery as a contact for technical queries.
- support laboratory planning, equipment qualifications, and study implementations.
- oversee facility management and lead process development projects.
- create and review work instructions and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- manage relocatable furniture needs and ensure the operability of the RD building.
- handle budget activities, material orders, and invoice approvals.
Qualifikationen:
- hold a university degree in a relevant field of science (e.g., Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, IT, Engineering, Biology), and less professional experience is acceptable for higher degrees.
- possess strong organizational and communication skills, adept at managing multiple stakeholders and priorities with a self-confident demeanor and assertiveness.
- have the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse teams and external partners.
- demonstrate a high level of initiative and creativity in establishing new processes.
- have three years of laboratory experience with genetic engineering activities.
- are experienced in dealing with various IT systems, with a strong affinity for and interest in technology.
- have experience with programming and automation tools like Microsoft Power Automate, PowerBI, and SharePoint Online Lists is a plus.
- are proficient in German (fluent, spoken and written) and have proficiency in English.
