Quality Assurance Product Senior Specialist (m/w/d)

The Quality Assurance Product (QAP) Senior - mechanical will be responsible to support the product specification and to ensure the compliance to this through a mature product approval before production and distribution as well as the product quality monitoring. Additionally, the QAP Senior will manage product complaints with the suppliers, assure the problem analysis and resolution and collect the know-how of lessons learned. - Developing and optimizing QAP standards and procedures and assuring their execution. - Advising team on practical activities such as SLP and Sample etc. Product Introduction Process (PIP) - Product definition and approval - Ensuring that the team are executing the role of QAP in accordance with definitions inside the PIP, assuring best application of all activities like Safe Launch Plan etc. - Establishing and applying a standardized Product Approval process for Components (testing, documentation and formalized approval) - Working with stakeholders (Product Development, Procurement etc) to establish best practice on standards like technical specifications, Product Approvals, etc. - Identifying and achieving external product certification where appropriate - Product Quality Control - Defining and executing Safe Launch Plan according to the project needs, being inside the logistic facility to assure perfect application. - Defining and managing product test using internal and external resources - Managing together with local warehouse teams the blocking of suspect parts and the exchange of faulty parts in all warehouses of LKQE Components. - Supplier (external) - Managing complaints towards suppliers in close cooperation with QCW; assuring proper analysis and failure correction following an adapted 8D approach fulfilling the needs of LKQE Components - Monitoring product quality performance based on supplier data and incoming inspection data - Product Test & Analysis Capabilities - Identifying needs for internal test equipment and assuring the correct usage
