IT Developer ­­/­­ Tester (m­­/­­f­­/­­d)

-Verify the SkyDE Set-Top-Box automation environment. Networking setup and signal patching correctly completed -Identify Infrastructure, Hardware issues e.g. loose cables, network problems and either solve minor problems alone or coordinate with the relevant people to solve them -Reproduce defects manually in case of doubts and raise defects using Jira -Create and send test result reports to all stake holders -Be able to document processes/reports/results using confluence to a high standard -Suggest changes and improvements to the automation system and reporting structures -Experience of working in an agile Software test automation environment -Experience of manually testing Graphical UI devices e.g. Set-Top-Boxes or other equivalent devices like smartphones, tablets, infotainment systems, Web sites or routers -Experience of creating defect reports and following up to get the defects fixed; Identify test automation script defects from real STB defects -Knowledge of networking concepts and managing network troubles -No German required
